For the life of me, i cant understand why anyone enjoys playing adc when the meta is to build IE, static shiv, RFC. IE is arguably the most inefficient gold item for an adc as a first item, because you cant make use of the passive early. And building 3 consecutive crit items just to feel useful in a game is a serious game design flaw. Im sorry but i miss the days when adc's built bloodthirster, static shiv, last whisper, and IE as a fourth item. You didnt need 75% crit by midgame to be useful. You ended a game with 50-55% crit depending whether you had phantom dancer or static shiv. I don't enjoy playing adc when 2-3 autos kills everything. Its mindless and unfun. If the game wasnt so over-saturated with damage, adc's wouldnt feel they need to have 100% crit to deal damage before they get bursted down. The only way to be useful is to match burst with burst. How can an adc do burst damage? By making sure every auto does 900 damage. That way if someone tries to burst you, you can just auto them twice before they get any damage off and kill them. This game has become so mindless. No skill needed, just every class build full glass cannon and burst everyone in 1 second. Real fun. Like seriously though, when did this idea that adc's need 75-100% crit become a thing?! Its not necessary, but every one does it and doesnt think twice about it. It doesnt strike anyone else as ridiculous that adc's need 900 dmg autos just to make a difference in a game?? That never used to be the case. You were mocked if you built 3 crit items in the past. You used to build for sustained damage output through a fight. Now they build for instant burst autos. Heres an example of a game that does crit correctly...Smite. No one ever builds more than 40-50% crit in that game, because its overkill and completely unnecessary. People will legit call you out in higher elo's for building a 3rd crit item. The fact that Riot cant balance the game to make adc's useful without them needing to have 75%+ critical strike is laughable. Maybe if laning phase and mid game were actually a thing anymore they wouldnt need too. Maybe if riot wasnt so worried about trying to make every class deal _tons of damage_. Maybe if riot wasnt so focused on games lasting 20min instead of 35-40. God only knows. Anyway, since full crit adc builds are back, im out.
